Welcome to the Cress Creek Homeowners Association website! We hope you'll enjoy reading about all Cress Creek has to offer on our various pages on this site. We are proud to be a long- standing, friendly community in Naperville and welcome all residents to come to our quarterly board meetings and participate in our various community building activities.
We ask our residents to pay our annual HOA dues of $35 to cover some shared costs including maintaining our landscaping and electricity of our signs at our entrances, hosting an annual block party in August, updating our residents through our quarterly Chronicle newsletter, and maintaining our nonprofit status. We feel strongly that our HOA really helps connect our community and we hope you'll offer your support.
Website The new website is being launched Spring of 2022 and as part of that launch, residents should receive an invitation to join. Please register, ensure your information is correct and add family members and pets. For your convenience, you can also pay your annual $35 dues online. Lifestyle and Location Cress Creek was developed by builder Harold Moser in 1962 and was the Chicago area’s first residential golf course community. The neighborhood continues to grow and change as families invest in this truly special community. One of the most unique things about Cress Creek is the variety of homes and price points that exist. The eclectic nature gives the neighborhood character and charm unlike many planned communities that focus on continuity and sameness. Driving down the tree lined streets you’ll see luxury homes that have been completely rebuilt, existing homes with extensive additions or homes with original floor plans lovingly maintained.
The lifestyle component is equally unmatched by many other subdivisions within Naperville. In the heart of the community is Cress Creek Golf Course and Country club. Founded in 1963, it has long been one of the premier family oriented country clubs in the Western Suburbs and has several levels of membership. The championship 18 hole course was designed by Ron Prichard and attracts golfers from around the Chicago area. But the Country Club has been so much more to families over the years. It’s become a lifestyle and extension of family with the 2 pools, clay tennis courts, competitive swim and water polo teams and renowned culinary options. There are several resident organizations such as Cress Creek Garden Club and Cress Creek Mom and Tots where neighbors build lifelong family friendships.
The location is also second to none. Situated on the north side of town and within district 203 schools, the neighborhoods of Cress Creek are uniquely loated within a 2 mile radius of I-88, the Naperville train station and the well-known shops and dining options of downtown Naperville. Directly to the west is McDowell Forest Preserve where you can enjoy beautiful walking and biking trails that can connect with the Riverwalk & downtown Naperville to the South or to the Prairie Path to the North. One of the best kept neighborhood secrets! Nike Sports Complex is right in our backyard to the east and offers sand volleyball courts, pickle ball and lighted fields for soccer, baseball and so many other outdoor activities.
